1. About Build IT Estimating

Build IT Estimating provides conceptual construction budget estimates and accepts requests for professional estimating services. By creating an account or using the application, you agree to these terms.

2. Estimates are for planning only

This is a conceptual construction budget for planning purposes only. It is not a contractor bid, proposal, guaranteed price, or substitute for a detailed project estimate.

Estimates are produced from published cost evidence and AI analysis of the information you provide. Actual construction costs depend on design, market conditions, bidding, schedule, and site factors outside our control. You are responsible for verifying any figure before relying on it for a financial or contractual decision.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for activity under your account. You may sign in with email and password, Google, or Microsoft. You may delete your account by contacting us.

4. Estimate allowance and fair use

Signed-in users may generate a limited number of budget estimates each month, currently three. Retrying an estimate that failed to generate does not consume an additional estimate. We may adjust allowances, and we apply platform-wide limits on research activity to keep the service available to everyone.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the project information you enter. You grant us permission to process it to generate your estimates and to operate and improve the service. Do not submit information you are not permitted to share.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the service, scrape the application, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an as-is basis without warranties. Features may change, and some capabilities are released in stages. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Build IT Estimating is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made in reliance on a conceptual budget estimate.
